A huge shout out to our @maple_ridge_elementary_pta! They donated $20,000 to Maple Ridge this week! We know that this donation would not have happened without the help and dedication of MANY Maple Ridge parents who willingly give of their time and energy to support our students and teachers! WE LOVE OUR PTA!
Maple Ridge 5th graders attended the “Freedom Walk” with other 5th graders in the Spanish Fork area. The field trip is presented by the American Legion and the students learn about patriotism from our local veterans.
Maple Ridge 4th and 5th grade students who excel in math are invited to participate in our Mathlete Program–Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS). Each week students are provided with challenging and thought provoking mathematical problems designed to strengthen student’s mathematical skills. Each month participants take a math Olympiad and answer 5 challenging questions in 30 minutes.
Mrs. Cheever’s kindergartners put on an art show for parents and students this year. They were able to show their pieces of art and talk about it as the parents and students walked through. We all loved seeing their creativity through their artwork.

Our upper grade students participate in track meets this month. We had several students who won awards and despite some cold weather, our teachers and students had a great time!
