We had such a great Teacher Appreciation Week last week at Maple Ridge. Our PTA spoiled us with lunches, drinks, treats, beautiful door decorations, massages, and more! We love our @maple_ridge_elementary_pta! Also a big thank you to @beddys @zyiaactive and @minkycouture @shopbpoetic_ who also donated items to our week.
Come and celebrate the amazing career of DeAnn Sanders at a retirement open house on Thursday, April 25th from 3:45-5:00. We love DeAnn and are so excited for her next adventures!
Did you ever think you could raise money for families fighting cancer simply by doing a little bit of dancing and exercising? Well that’s exactly what you can do at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society DANCE for FUNds fundraising event, coming up on Saturday, April 27th at the Nebo School District Summit Center.
Congratulations to Lyndsie Jordan who is Maple Ridge Teacher of the Year this year! Lyndsie’s teaching philosophy is the belief that every child should enter school feeling valued, supported, and loved. She believes that each student possesses the potential to learn and develop.
Mrs. Sanders' 4th graders made pin hole cameras and enjoyed the solar eclipse on Monday. This extraordinary event was an event they all enjoyed.
This past week we celebrated our awesome secretaries, Mrs. Simmons and Mrs. Gatley! They are the heart of our school. They do so much for all of us and keep things running smoothly. They are great nurses, therapists, dentists, first-responders, cheerleaders, multi-taskers, listeners, party-planners, schedulers, problem-solvers, and much more! Our school could not function without them! Thank you Mrs. Simmons and Mrs. Gatley for all you do to make Maple Ridge the very best place to be! We love you!
