School is out at noon on Wednesday, March 20th. Please note that drop off by buses after school may be delayed due to schedule changes at the secondary level earlier that day.
Our 5th graders recently participated in our annual Wax Museum. Students researched a famous person and wrote a speech that they could give telling information about that person. They dressed up like the person they researched and then students and parents were able to come in and hear their speech. We are proud of all their hard work!
Maple Ridge 2nd graders learned about producers and consumer for financial literacy. The students got to produce their own crafts to sell to other students in their grade.
Congratulations to these students for moving on to The Central Utah STEM Fair at BYU on March 20th!
Maple Ridge 4th graders recently had the privilege of attending a concert put on by the Utah Symphony. They prepared by learning about the different sections of the orchestra and the role of the conductor.
Parents often wonder if there is support available regarding transitions to Middle school, Jr. High, and High School. This free workshop will give parents tips and techniques to help them support their child as they transition to secondary levels in Nebo School District.
One of the most important skills we will be teaching parents in this workshop is student self-advocacy and the “dignity of risk!” See the flyer for more details.
Second graders in Mrs. Southam’s class made models of earth’s landforms with homemade play dough. They used these models to teach each other about how the landforms are created and the different characteristics that they have.
These amazing fourth and fifth grade students helped introduce the character trait of GENEROSITY to our Maple Ridge students during our monthly STRONG assembly.
