Kindergarten Field Trip

Submitted by becky.manning on

Maple Ridge kindergarteners had a fun field trip to Glen Ray’s Pumpkin Patch! We had fun going through the corn maze, playing in the corn pit, and going down the giant slide. We even learned about how pumpkins grow and all the jobs farmers do. Thank you to all the parents who came and helped! It was a fun fall day!

Drum Donations to Our Music Classroom

Submitted by becky.manning on

We are so appreciative of the generosity of several people who donated instruments they were no longer using for our students to use during music class. Since many wished to remain anonymous, we only have first names for some of them. A big thank you to Tiffani, Beth Hardy, Carlos, Eric, John, Ron, Katelyn, and Ryan McKnight. Thank you for your kind hearts and your willingness to help our students learn to love and appreciate hearing and playing music!

Fossils in Fourth Grade

Submitted by becky.manning on

Mrs. Sanders' 4th graders have recently been learning about fossils and they did an art project depicting a leaf trapped in tree sap. It was a fun way to recreate something that happened thousands of years ago!
