As part of a partnership with BYU, education students from the university come into the schools to teach students important physical education skills. During the month of February, several Maple Ridge classes are fortunate enough to receive this instruction and have fun at the same time.
The student council will be sponsoring the annual Val-O-Grams this year. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (February 12th-14th) students can purchase these before school from 8:35-8:55. They can be purchased for 25 cents each, or five for $1.
For White Ribbon Week, PTA members greeted students, and gave them a white ribbon to kick off a week full of fun activities. Throughout the week students will have the opportunity to learn about how to stay safe and make smart choices while using the internet, or any technology.

During the month of January, students who exemplified what it looks like to be engaged learners, were selected as the Students of the Month at Maple Ridge.
