Dear Parents and Families:

We are so excited for our upcoming 3rd Term Parent Teacher Conferences. The majority of our grade levels will be holding Walking Report Cards. This is a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge of grade level concepts and for a parent to see what students are working on during the course of the regular school day. We will be limiting our sign ups to 4 students per time slot as well as inviting only one adult per student. Thank you for helping us limit the number of individuals in the building at a time.
Due to a delay in the printing of our certificates, we had to recognize our students of the month for January and February a little later than normal. Our January students were recognized for demonstrating initiative. (Not pictured: Reese Peterson, Indiah Hamilton, Morgan Robinson, and Ivy Whimpey) Our February students were recognized for showing determination. (Not pictured: Lily Caler, Matthew Stohel, TJ Perry, Easton Youd, and Jeffrey Beck).
Our very own librarian, Miss Stacey, was recognized as one of the District Classified Employees of the Year. Her award was for Educational Technician. Miss Stacey is such an amazing person at Maple Ridge. She always has fun projects for students to do, is willing to help teachers find materials, and will jump in and help with any project that might be going on. Her library is always decorated so fun and she makes it an inviting place to be. She is loved by both students and faculty. Congratulations Miss Stacey!
