Mrs. Williams first grader’s spent the week after Christmas Break reading and learning about different animal groups. At the end of the week they got into groups and practiced writing a paragraph about their animal group. They worked together to take turns writing different sentences and they all helped to illustrate their writing. This is a such a fun time of year as their confidence grows and they begin working more independently.
