February was Kindness Month at Maple Ridge. Throughout the month our student council gave us challenges to work on and planned activities for Maple Ridge students to participate in. They challenged us all to SMILE, COMPLIMENT, and INVITE each week during the month. Our student council decorated the halls with kindness quotes to remind us all of the importance of being kind. Students wrote kind things they had done or someone had done for them and hung them on a sign that was displayed at the front of the school. They also wrote thank you notes to people they appreciate during lunch.
