Maple Ridge custodian, Mr. Swenson, was recently recognized as the Horace Mann Classified Employee of the Year at Maple Ridge. If you've been inside Maple Ridge, you know how beautiful and clean it is! Mr. Swenson and his crew do an amazing job everyday at keeping everything looking nice. This year has been extra work for them to keep everything sanitized to help all of us stay healthy. We are so grateful for our whole custodial staff including Mr. Ferran and our wonderful sweepers. Congratulations Mr. Swenson! 

Last week was National School Counselor Week. Mrs. Burningham is Maple Ridge's counselor and she is amazing! Mrs. Burningham teaches lessons to students monthly, meets with individual students, is a resource for teachers, and even helps at bus duty and in the lunchroom! She is a very important person at our school and we love her! Thank you for all you do for us Mrs. B!
