Students of the Month for January and February

Submitted by becky.manning on

Due to a delay in the printing of our certificates, we had to recognize our students of the month for January and February a little later than normal. Our January students were recognized for demonstrating initiative. (Not pictured: Reese Peterson, Indiah Hamilton, Morgan Robinson, and Ivy Whimpey) Our February students were recognized for showing determination. (Not pictured: Lily Caler, Matthew Stohel, TJ Perry, Easton Youd, and Jeffrey Beck).

Miss Stacey--District Classified Employee of the Year

Submitted by becky.manning on

Our very own librarian, Miss Stacey, was recognized as one of the District Classified Employees of the Year. Her award was for Educational Technician. Miss Stacey is such an amazing person at Maple Ridge. She always has fun projects for students to do, is willing to help teachers find materials, and will jump in and help with any project that might be going on. Her library is always decorated so fun and she makes it an inviting place to be. She is loved by both students and faculty. Congratulations Miss Stacey!

Maple Ridge Reads Week

Submitted by sara.matis on

We hope all of our students enjoy reading all the time and focus on remembering to read each night in order to practice our skills.  This week students are invited to celebrate Maple Ridge Reads Week (in conjunction with Read Across America and Dr. Seuss' Birthday!).  We continue to focus on improving our reading skills daily and invite students to participate in our dress up days this week.
