This week is National School Counselor Week and we are celebrating our school counselor, Mrs. Brindley, AND our school psychologist, Mrs. Kurzinski. We love them both! They are instrumental in helping students at Maple Ridge be successful and make good choices. Thank you Mrs. Brindley and Mrs. Kurzinski for all you do for us!
Last week our school counselor, Mrs. Brindley, helped us kick off Kindness Month by bringing in Stand4Kind to do an assembly. Mr. Youd told us a story, we played a game, and then we were able to hear from a live band. They reminded us all to be kind and good friends to one another!
Maple Ridge first graders recently celebrated being in school for 100 days! They participated in a 100 things museum where students brought in 100 items from home to show their peers. Congratulations to our first graders for being 100 days smarter!
February is kindness month at Maple Ridge! On Friday, our fifth graders were out front of our school spreading kindness to students and parents! Look for them every Friday before school and honk for kindness!
