Beginning recently and continuing through the next several weeks, education students at BYU will be teaching several classes at Maple Ridge.  Students are given the opportunity to exercise and have fun at the same time.

Teachers in the upper grades at Maple Ridge, received training in music integration in the classroom.  Rob Marsden, Nebo School District music curriculum specialist, came in and taught various lessons to teach music concepts.  He also met with grade level teams to develop lesson plans that integrate music into other subject areas.

Mrs. Matis not only wore her patriotic attire for Constitution Day, she read the Preamble to the Constitution during morning announcements as teachers showed illustrations from We the Kids (illustrations by David Catrow).
