Second Graders recently had the opportunity to attend Farm Field Days at Harward Farms and had a blast!
This field trip is a fun and engaging way to learn a lot about farming, nutrition, life cycles, animals, planting and growing crops, and more! The second graders loved the baby animals and the talking tomato the most. A big thank you to Harward Farms for inviting us and to all of the amazing presenters.
Maple Ridge fifth graders recently read a book about the Everglades. After reading, they had the opportunity to Zoom with Everglades park rangers and learn more about the ecosystems there.
Students in Mrs. Olson’s fourth grade class recently learned about circuits, waves and energy during science!
Students in Miss Stokes’ class read “If I Ran the Zoo” by Dr. Seuss and then had to decide how tall the animal’s cages should be using cubes, tiles and counters! They learned how to measure by tiling and estimating!
