Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day to our awesome custodians, Mr. Daybell and Mr. Ferran! They are truly amazing and keep our school looking so nice! A big thank you to both of them for all their hard work!
Mrs. Porter’s 3rd grade class has been learning all about life cycles. They are researching a specific insect and making a poster to report to the class all they have learned.
Mrs. Olson’s 4th grade class learned about the structure and function of plants this week. We are excited about 4th grade science!
Mrs. Sanders’ 4th graders made posters about animal structure and function. They gathered information from their classmates posters.
Congratulations to these Maple Ridge students who were selected as our Students of the Month for September. They were recognized for showing positive self-esteem and showing many of the Maple Ridge S.T.R.O.N.G qualities (supportive, thankful, resilient, optimistic, nice, generous). Mr. Bates' class recently learned about energy transfer by cooking s'mores from homemade ovens.
Mrs. Mathews' 4th grade class finished their fossils unit and then got to make some fossils of their own!
