We are so appreciative of the generosity of several people who donated instruments they were no longer using for our students to use during music class. Since many wished to remain anonymous, we only have first names for some of them. A big thank you to Tiffani, Beth Hardy, Carlos, Eric, John, Ron, Katelyn, and Ryan McKnight. Maple Ridge fourth graders recently went on a field trip to the Natural History Museum in SLC. A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped make the field trip successful!

Sunday, October 16th was Boss' Day and we were on Fall Break, so we celebrated today instead! We are so grateful for Mrs. Matis and truly believe she goes the extra mile for faculty, staff, and students. We love you Mrs. Matis! Thanks for all you do to make Maple Ridge such a great school!

Mrs. Sanders' 4th graders have recently been learning about fossils and they did an art project depicting a leaf trapped in tree sap. It was a fun way to recreate something that happened thousands of years ago!

Recently in Mrs. Cheever's kindergarten students learned about characters, setting, plot, problem and solution. They also worked on retelling the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The students made little puppets and created their own bridge to retell the story to a friend. It was a fun activity with lots of talking and great accents.
