These students were our Maple Ridge Students of the Month for November. They were recognized for being nice! We are so proud of them and grateful for their good examples! (Not pictured: Willow Berlin, Olive Williams, Cohen Clayson, Sloan Swanson, Katlyn Thorpe, Demi Taylor, Juliet Skinner)
Mrs. Rasmussen's 3rd grade class used their STEM skills to construct a Christmas Tree with just toothpicks and Dots candy! It was exciting to use collaborative thinking and working skills to construct a tasty tree.
These students participated in the PTA Reflections Contest at the School Level and then their entries went on to win at the Council Level as well! We are so proud of them! Two of our students received an Award of Merit: Riley Peterson for 2D artwork and Max Dimond for film. The following students won an Award of Excellence and have advanced to the Region Level of competition: David Higginson for 3D art, Emmy Sonntag for Photography, Kelly Trudeau, Lincoln Olson, and Victoria Carlson for Dance, and Holland Hassan and Reese Petersen for 2D art.
Maple Ridge Student Council is holding a Penny War from Monday, Dec. 12- Friday, Dec. 16. We will be having a fun and friendly competition between classes but also helping our community! All funds will go to the Utah Food and Care Coalition.
