Maple Ridge has enjoyed having Mrs. Rachel Marie Kimball, one of our district dance specialists, at school the past couple of months. Mrs. Kimball has used dance to teach students many things including wave properties, Ghanaian culture, Samoan culture, skip counting, division, factors and multiples, syllables, rhyming, measurements (cups, pints, quarts, gallons), and so much more. Check out the pictures to see Mrs. Hales' kindergarten students working on counting by ones and tens with Mrs. Kimball. A big thank you to Mrs. Kimball for helping us integrate dance into our school day!

Discovery Gateway visited our Maple Ridge kindergartners and taught them about forces of motion. They explored pushing and pulling movements in a variety of fun ways!
