Red Ribbon Week BMX Bike Assembly
Today students oohed and ahhhed as they watched some talented BMX bikers jump, fly, and even touch the sky... Well maybe not the sky, but they did reach the ceiling! Our students had a blast today and we can't wait to continue celebrating red ribbon week.
Happy Halloween
Students and teachers had a fabulous time celebrating Halloween yesterday. One of the highlights of Halloween at Maple Ridge each year is our Halloween Parade. A big thank you to all of the parents who helped volunteer in classrooms this week.

Amazing Mr. Swenson
Last week we celebrated National Maple Ridge Mr. Swenson Day. If you didn’t know, we have the best custodian in the world! He works hard to keep our school looking amazing. This first month of school has been especially busy for him and we wanted to let him know how much we appreciate him! Thank you, Mr. Swenson! #mapleridgepride
Dr. Hank Smith Visits Maple Ridge
As part of kindness month, Dr. Hank Smith came to talk to Maple Ridge students. He taught us about making good choices and being an “upstander” instead of a bystander. He taught us to be kind and to gently remind others to do the same by saying, “Dude, don’t crush my chips!” It was a great message and we are happy he spent some time with us! @hankrsmith #dontcrushmychips
Good Morning Maple Ridge!
Today at Maple Ridge students were greated by Mapleton police officers with a smile and a high-five or fist bump. We are so lucky to have such amazing police officers here in Mapleton and are grateful for the smiles they put on our student's faces this morning.
Monday, September 16 12:00 pm Release
Monday, September 16, all schools in Nebo School District will dismiss early for Staff Development. Instead of the regular early out time, this means school will dismiss at noon. Lunch will still be served for elementary students and end of day buses will run at noon. This means that morning kindergarten students will ride the bus they take to school to return home. There will be no PM kindergarten this day. Thank you for arranging schedules so that all students have a plan to return home earlier than usual on this day.
