Maple Ridge Elementary students raised just over $4500 during Penny Wars the week before Christmas. The Student Council was able to present a check to The House of Hope located in Provo, Utah over the holiday break. We would like to thank all the students and parents who participated and donated so generously to help families in need! 

Mrs. Williams first grader’s spent the week after Christmas Break reading and learning about different animal groups. At the end of the week they got into groups and practiced writing a paragraph about their animal group. They worked together to take turns writing different sentences and they all helped to illustrate their writing. This is a such a fun time of year as their confidence grows and they begin working more independently.

Maple Ridge and East Meadows collected food to honor Nate Carr and help those in need this Christmas. Thank you to all who sent in food, we were able to fill 4 bins and provide food to those in our community. Nate loved serving those around him and this was a wonderful way to remember him and serve those in need.
