Maple Ridge Talent Show

Submitted by becky.manning on

Our music teacher, Mrs. Nielson, has had students participate in a talent show the past couple of weeks when their class came to music. Students were able to showcase the different talents and skills they have. We saw so many students do amazing things and it was fun to see them have the opportunity to share. Maple Ridge is full of talented kids!

Thank You Mrs. Kimball!

Submitted by becky.manning on

Maple Ridge has enjoyed having Mrs. Rachel Marie Kimball, one of our district dance specialists, at school the past couple of months. Mrs. Kimball has used dance to teach students many things including wave properties, Ghanaian culture, Samoan culture, skip counting, division, factors and multiples, syllables, rhyming, measurements (cups, pints, quarts, gallons), and so much more. Check out the pictures to see Mrs. Hales' kindergarten students working on counting by ones and tens with Mrs. Kimball. A big thank you to Mrs. Kimball for helping us integrate dance into our school day!
