Classes at Maple Ridge Elementary tied fleece blankets for Primary Children's Hospital on Friday, January 22nd. This was a great opportunity to provide service for a good cause.

On Wednesday, January 13th, Maple Ridge held parent conferences. Students, parents and teachers met to discuss student progress. Several teachers opted to have Walking Report Cards where students demonstrate what they have learned throughout the year.
On Monday, January 11th, students at Maple Ridge were entertained by a magician to kick off the Care-A-Palooza event. Students and families have been encouraged to donate fleece to go toward blankets which will be donated to Primary Children's Hospital. Michael Workman, working on his Eagle Project, organized the event.
On December 18th, the day before Christmas break, all students at Maple Ridge celebrated the Christmas season with song. Each grade level chose a song to perform for the rest of the school, and then all students sang several songs together. Students were excited that Mrs. Sandberg was able to place a call to the North Pole and talk to Santa.
