Maple Ridge students and teachers are currently working with one of our GAINS (Growing Arts in Nebo Schools) dance specialists, Rachel Marie Kimball. Mrs. Kimball is teaching classroom teachers how to incorporate dance into their curriculum. Second grade teacher, Ms. Jordan said, "We have been learning about the seven continents and the cultures within those places. Mrs. Kimball taught the students a dance from Samoa. They got to learn about the Fa'ataupati slap dance and even create their own!"

All our classes have the opportunity to work with Mrs. Kimball and teachers and students alike are enjoying the new things they are learning!
