Ms. Harward's class recently had the opportunity to use Ozobots to help them review the multiplication skills that we learned earlier this year. Students were put into partnerships and had to solve various multiplication problems to code their Ozobots. They also got the chance to create their own problems as another way to do the codes. It was a blast!
Maple Ridge Elementary Student Council was invited to present on Kindness Month at the Nebo School District board meeting on Wednesday, March 8th. Presenters included Eden Doxey, Landon Holdaway, Izabella Hanson, Harrison Beck, McKinley Rothlisberger, and Stone Norton.
Ms. Crandall's third grade class recently had a reading day celebration where they had a “book tasting” escape room. The students read books in 4 different genres, fiction, non-fiction, biography, and poetry and wrote menu reviews. Many of the students had not read biography or poetry books and had the chance to give them a try!
Ms. Harward's third grade class did some really fun origami type art to support our understanding of fractions! It was great to connect what we’ve been learning about fractions to a new art project.
