Maple Ridge is hosting a food drive for the Nebo Food Bank in honor of Nate Carr.  Nate was always doing kind acts of service and we want to honor him by serving the students in Nebo School District.  We will be collecting food from Sept. 28-Oct.

The second grade enjoyed a visit from the Loveland Living Aquarium on Tuesday, September 21.  Students had the opportunity to learn about the rainforest and some of the special animals that live there.   Seeing a cockroach, millipede, snake, and lizard up close made the visit extra special!

Mrs. Sanders’ 4th graders are learning about our rights and responsibilities as U.S. citizens, the symbols of the Utah state flag and what the role of the President of the United States is. They designed their own flag and also recreated an American flag. Students in Mrs. Olson's fourth grade class had to construct a bridge that would hold 1/2 lb. weights and work together to create the strongest and most durable bridge using popsicle sticks and tape.
