On Tuesday, November 24th, students and faculty members were able to witness what will surely be an annual tradition, the first official Maple Ridge Gobble Off. A panel of esteemed judges were selected to listen to each classroom representative give his/her best rendition of a turkey gobble. The top winners were gifted with a variety of prizes from actual turkeys, to hats with a Thanksgiving twist.
Maple Ridge students in grades three through six were able to attend the BYU Women's basketball game against the Utah State Aggies on November 24th.
Scott Savage, a prominent Utah author, visited students in the upper grades on November 23rd.
Since we are CRAZY ABOUT READING, on November 23rd, everyone at Maple Ridge had the choice of whether or not to style their hair in a crazy way.
