On Tuesday, September 5th, students at Maple Ridge were entertained by renowned storyteller Ed   Stivender. He will also be performing at the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival at Thanksgiving point this upcoming weekend.  

Recently, sixth grade students at Maple Ridge learned about the three forms of heat transfer: conduction, convection and radiation.  To learn about them, they made smores, hot chocolate and waffles to show the different forms.  

Last week, students in the fourth grade learned about dinosaurs.  They even had the opportunity to look at dinosaur fossils!

Recently, the fourth grade students at Maple Ridge teamed-up to build the tallest tower out of spaghetti. Their goal was to attach a marshmallow to the top with out puncturing the marshmallow. This team built a tower of 18 and 3/8 inches.
