On Wednesday, December 14th, Teresa Jordan, our facilitator at Maple Ridge, was awarded the PEAK Award.  Nebo School District wants to showcase our Positive Energy and Kind employees. PEAK Awards are nominated by patrons and recognized by the Superintendent Staff and Nebo School Board of Education. The award is administered by the Communications and Community Relations Department.

Teresa was nominated by Principal Sara Matis who said:

“Teresa is always willing to help in any situation. From assisting a struggling reader or taking a student aside for a pick-me-up, she always goes the extra mile. The events Teresa runs are always well-planned, cute, and enjoyable. She gives her all to support her intern teachers as well as all staff and students. She is amazing! Even when handling difficult situations, Teresa is always positive about students. She also tells the BEST stories and is an endless source of entertainment and engagement.”

All those who work with Teresa will testify that she is ALWAYS on the move and doing things to help others succeed.  She takes the time to make each person feel that they are important and will listen when you need a friend.  We love Teresa Jordan!
