UUR is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematica) outreach program that teaches students how to construct an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) from low cost components. Students are required to learn important STEM related concepts to complete their vehicle including electronics, buoyancy, propulsion, hydrostatic pressure, waterproofing, etc.
